One Love Candle Co. got our name from a memorable and inspiring trip to Namibia. I (Jessica) was there on a placement during my Masters degree to work with a young man with Cerebral Palsy. At the centre I was volunteering at included a map of the world that read "One World One Love". This was such an important message. Love and humanity connects us all as human beings. All we need in this world is love. To give love, to receive love, to witness love. I truly believe the world would be a much better place if we could all just love one another for our similarities and our differences.
I can honestly say this trip changed my life and my outlook on many things. It forced me to grow and step outside my comfort zone and for that I am forever grateful.
